1. Acceptance of Terms & Service Overview

These Terms and Conditions constitute a legally binding agreement between you (whether individually or on behalf of an entity, firm, or client) and BankToTally ("we", "us", or "our"), governing your access to and use of the website located at banktotally.com and its related web conversion utilities.

BankToTally provides an automated computational document parsing service that converts Indian bank statement PDF files (such as State Bank of India, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, Axis Bank, Bank of India, and other supported formats) into standardized Excel workbooks (.xlsx) and Tally Prime compatible XML vouchers (.xml).

By registering an account, purchasing prepaid conversion credits, or uploading any statement PDF, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must immediately discontinue using our service.

2. User Accounts & Prepaid Credits

• Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials, login email, and passwords. You agree to immediately notify us of any unauthorized use of your account.
• Prepaid Credit Model: Services are billed via non-expiring prepaid digital conversion credits. One credit is typically consumed upon the successful extraction and export of a single bank statement file.
• Free Conversions: New registered users receive 2 complimentary conversion credits for evaluation purposes. Free credits cannot be exchanged for cash or transferred between accounts.
• Payment Processing: All credit purchases are securely processed through Razorpay Payment Gateway. We do not store credit card numbers, CVVs, or NetBanking credentials on our servers.

As a condition of using BankToTally, you agree that you will not:

• Upload documents for which you do not possess the lawful authority or client authorization to process.
• Attempt to upload malicious files, virus-infected PDFs, or exploit automated scripts against our endpoints.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or copy our parsing algorithms, regex models, or Tally XML transformation templates.
• Use the platform for any money laundering, fraudulent accounting manipulation, or unlawful activities under the Information Technology Act, 2000 or the laws of India.

5. Accuracy Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

BankToTally operates as a computational data transformation tool. While our parsing engine achieves high accuracy through running balance-delta mathematical verification, bank statement formatting across branches and dates can vary.

Mandatory User Verification: Chartered Accountants, tax practitioners, and users must independently verify converted Excel sheets and imported Tally Prime ledger vouchers against the primary bank statement before filing statutory returns, GST returns, or income tax audit reports.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable Indian law, BankToTally and its directors, employees, or affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages, accounting discrepancies, or tax penalties arising out of the use or inability to use this computational software.

6. Intellectual Property Rights

All visual interfaces, source code, logos, Tally Prime XML schema structures, website design, and proprietary bank parsing algorithms are the exclusive intellectual property of BankToTally and are protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws.

7. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any legal dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or related to our service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Delhi, India.
